Hello fellow tutors,

Am so delighted to have joined the team. Greetings to you all.
Just to check if any lecturer has developed a Chinese version of Strategic Planning powerpoints.
The Edinburgh Business School 2013 Prospectus (English) is now available online for prospective students to download from our website at http://www.ebsglobal.net/ miscellaneous/prospectus. It is available in three versions; page-turning, full colour pdf and a print friendly version.

As well as the usual updates and corrections I’d like to particularly draw your attention to a couple of new sections that have been added to the 2013 prospectus; Panmure House on pages 6 & 7 and the Malaysia campus on page 19.

The foreign language versions are undergoing translation and will be uploaded online later this month.

Feedback on course materials

EBS have created a dedicated email address that tutors and students can use to send any suggestions and/or flag any errors they spot in the course materials. This will mean that feedback can be acted upon more quickly.

From now on, the following line will be included in the course texts:

The courses are updated on a regular basis to take account of errors, omissions and recent developments. If you'd like to suggest a change to this course, please contact us: comments@ebs.hw.ac.uk.

This does not replace the feedback system currently in place as part of the Annual Monitoring process. The new email address is in addition to this process, giving students and tutors a way of sending suggestions quickly.

This is a better and improved interface. It is now much easier to interact as well as download course materials
Course Websites

As part of the launch of the new version of the Course Websites, the Faculty Boards (the tutor area of the Course Websites) will shortly be removed.

All resources which have been made available to Approved Tutors by EBS faculty can now be found on the relevant sections of the Partner Network. Many of these resources have been updated and are available for tutors to download now.

Photographs

We can now add photographs to your profile in both the Partner Network and the EBS Course Websites. This means that your photograph would appear alongside any message posted by you on either website.

If you would like to add a photo to your profile, please email the file (.jpeg only please) to: ggs@ebs.hw.ac.uk.
